Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Note2Self collects when you visit this website, why, and the choices you have.
Who we are
This website is operated by Note2Self. For any privacy-related request you can reach us at [email protected].
What we collect
We keep data collection to a minimum. Depending on your choices, we may process:
- Analytics & usage data — pages viewed, approximate location (country/city, derived from a truncated IP), device and browser type, referring site, and on-page interactions. Collected only if you accept the Analytics category.
- Marketing & measurement data — events used to measure and attribute advertising. Collected only if you accept the Marketing category.
- Contact details — if you email us or use a contact form, we receive the name, email address, and message you provide.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not run any tracking until you opt in via our cookie banner.
How we use it
- To understand which content resonates and improve the site.
- To measure the effectiveness of any advertising we run.
- To respond to messages and booking enquiries.
Third-party services
When enabled by your consent, we use the following processors. Each sets its own cookies and processes data under its own policy:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland/LLC) — audience and usage analytics, with IP anonymisation enabled. Google Privacy Policy
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corp.) — aggregated behaviour and heatmap analytics. Microsoft Privacy Statement
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Inc.) — ad measurement and retargeting. Meta Privacy Policy
Embedded players (e.g. Spotify, YouTube, Bandsintown) may also set cookies once you interact with them. See our Cookie Policy for detail.
Legal basis
Where the GDPR applies, analytics and marketing processing rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you may withdraw at any time. Responding to your enquiries relies on our legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data; object to or restrict processing; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You can withdraw cookie consent at any time using the control (also in the footer). To exercise any right, email [email protected].
Data retention
Analytics data is retained per each provider's default settings. Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above.
